CANTEEN DAY 2008

On the 4th of April 2008, everyone was so excited simply because some were getting an award, some was happy cause they were expecting their club to make lots of money, and some were simply happy because they were going to escape from 1 day of studying.

In the morning every one was busy putting the event together. Many were helping their teachers many were making their parents feel at home. When our special guest Tan Sri Ajit Singh arrived many got excited. That was when the event actually began.
We started of with the school choir which sang a short shabad. After that it was the Team 1 children who put up a special dance followed by the others who did many intresting performances such as a hip-hop JUMP IN dance, Dikir Barat which is a special art from Kelantan. After that, it was the award ceromany. We started with the Primary 1 till the high achivers of SPM 2007. After that, the school director Mr. Sukhdev and Chief Executive Officer Mdm. Jaswinder Kaur gave a closing speech.

After that, every one was busy shoping for food since it was canteen day. The Scouts were selling ice-cream float.Girl Guides were selling Pakora. The Interact Club was selling Burgers and many others were selling many other tasty food.

Sri Dasmesh 8th Annual Sports Day

Sri Dasmesh had their 8th annual sports day at Kampung Pandan Sports Complex on the 9th of March 2008. At about 6.30 in the morning, all the cheer leaders from their respective houses were the dressing up themselves. Every one was in tense as it was still dark and many were late due to heavy traffic along the way. The Blue house cheer leaders were getting their hair done putting on their props while the teachers in charge wre so busy getting all the members to put their hand bands and hats. I had to put the flags in the right position and also was busy arranging everyone in their li8ne as the parade was just about to start. Many was excited and many was tense. After the match past, all houses had to do their cheer leading performance. After that the school director Mr. Sukhdev told everyone to observe a 1 minute silence for my friend RANJIT who has past away on the 06/03/08. Immedietly after that the 100 meters event took place followed by the 400 meters event. After that it was the only intresting event left which was the 4x100m. This event was so exciting because there was a lot of competion among all the houses in all catogaries. Then it was the telematches and followed by the parent-teacher event. It was the 8x50m. This event was the most intresting event because u would never find the old timers running to their best capablity. At last, we had the prize giving ceromany. Then comes the worst part of sports day the "GOTONG-ROYONG." So like always people start cleaning up the place while complaining that they dont like gotong-royong, many try to run away but are cought.

BASICLY the sports day was a great and an exciting & it was a SUCCESS!!!

U dont have to be a genius to be successful. What's more important is that u need to know is what u want to be successful at. Make a list of things u want to be successful at.
Only u can tell WHAT IS SUCCESS to u. And which aspect of your life u want to be successful at.
